From April 9 to 12, 2027, the picturesque area of Lake Garda in Italy will once again host the XIII International Spring Festival “Lago di Garda” – one of the most popular international events for folk and contemporary arts in Europe.

The festival will take place on the shores of Italy’s largest lake, renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery, medieval towns, historic castles, and welcoming atmosphere. Every spring, the region becomes a meeting place for different cultures, traditions, and artistic groups from around the world.

The event is non-competitive and offers an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange, the presentation of national traditions, and the establishment of new international contacts. Participation is open to folk dance and vocal ensembles, instrumental groups, as well as performers in modern dance, jazz, hip-hop, classical ballet, and other stage genres. There are no age restrictions.

The program includes a festival parade, concert performances, a gala concert, and an official award ceremony. All participants will receive an honorary diploma, a plaque, and a festival souvenir. A traditional meeting with local authorities and festival organizers is also planned.

In addition to the performances, participants will have the opportunity to visit some of the most popular tourist destinations in Northern Italy. These include the romantic city of Verona, the charming town of Malcesine with its medieval castle, the panoramic views of Monte Baldo, and the world-famous Gardaland amusement park. Additional excursion opportunities will also be available.

Groups wishing to participate in the XIII International Spring Festival “Lago di Garda” 2027 can already submit their applications for participation.
