From July 2 to 6, 2026, the Albanian city of Durrës will host the International Music Festival “Festival Days in Durrës” – an event that brings together cultures, traditions, and contemporary art in an inspiring seaside setting. Located on the Adriatic coast, Durrës is one of the oldest and most significant cities in Albania, known for its rich historical heritage, vibrant port, and popular beaches that attract thousands of visitors each year.

The festival aims to create a platform for cultural exchange through music, dance, and artistic performances. Participants from different countries will showcase the richness of their traditions – from folklore performances and national costumes to modern dance and musical styles. The event encourages intercultural dialogue, the creation of new friendships, and the development of lasting international connections among artistic groups.

The program includes parades, festival evenings, and stage performances, as well as opportunities to explore the cultural heritage of the region. Participants will have time both for performances and for leisure activities such as sightseeing, beach visits, and excursions to historical landmarks in Durrës, Tirana, and Kruja. In this way, the festival combines artistic expression with cultural tourism and a memorable summer experience.

The event is open to folklore and modern dance groups, choirs, majorette teams, brass bands, and other musical ensembles from all over the world, with no age or participant limits. Each group will have the opportunity to present its work on stage and become part of an international festival community.

Those interested in joining the International Festival “Festival Days in Durrës” are invited to submit their application and take part in an event that unites traditions, art, and cultures on the Albanian coast.
