From 1 to 5 July 2026, the Georgian Black Sea resort of Kobuleti will host the International Folk Dance and Music Festival “PERKHULI 2026” – an international forum bringing together folk dance and music ensembles from different countries. The event takes place in the Adjara region, in western Georgia, and focuses on cultural exchange, living traditions, and performing arts.

Kobuleti is a well-established tourist destination located on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and visited annually by thousands of guests from Georgia and abroad. This setting naturally turns the festival into a meeting point for different folklore schools, national costumes, and musical traditions.

During the festival days, participants will have the opportunity to take part in official concert performances, cultural meetings, and presentations before local and international audiences. Sightseeing visits to the Kobuleti area and the nearby city of Batumi are also planned, enriching the festival experience and creating conditions for informal cultural exchange between the ensembles.

The culmination of the forum will be a joint stage presentation, during which the groups will parade and perform on stage dressed in traditional costumes. At the end of the festival, participants will receive certificates of participation, and if necessary, the organizers will assist with issuing official invitation letters.

Folk dance and music ensembles wishing to take part in the International Folk Dance and Music Festival “PERKHULI 2026” can submit their participation application via an application form to the festival organizers.
