From July 6 to 10, 2026, Bar and Sutomore will once again host one of the most colorful cultural events on the Adriatic – the XIII International Festival “Dancing in Bar, Sutomore”. Participants from around the world will gather on the Adriatic coast to present dance, music, traditions, and modern styles to an international audience.

Bar is one of the most attractive destinations in the region, boasting a stunning 46-kilometer coastline. The city blends nature, history, and vibrant energy. Ancient civilizations, modern rhythms, and cultures from all over the world meet here. The Old Town of Bar, the Haj-Nehaj fortress, King Nikola’s Palace, and the 2000-year-old olive tree are just some of the landmarks awaiting visitors. Sutomore and the surrounding bays complete the feeling of summer, freedom, and inspiration.

The main mission of the festival is clear: to unite different nations through dance, song, music, and stage art. Folklore ensembles, modern dance groups, choirs, orchestras, majorette teams, and musicians from various countries come together on one stage. Artists have the chance to showcase their talent, exchange traditions, and create new friendships. Visitors enjoy a true journey across styles and cultures – from the roots to the contemporary rhythm.

The festival program includes parades, evening performances, visits to iconic regional sites, and free time for beach and relaxation. Groups perform programs lasting 10–12 minutes, using either a live orchestra or music playback. All participants are welcome – with no age limits and no restriction on the number of performers.
