On July 3rd, 2025, at 14:00 EEST, the long-awaited film about the three major forums that turned Veliko Tarnovo into a true capital of Bulgarian and world folklore this year will be premiered. The 28th Stara Planina Fest “Balkan Folk”, the 15th Bulgarian National Folklore Championship “Euro Folk”, and the 10th World Cup of Folklore gathered over 3,000 participants from Bulgaria and abroad, filling the stages with rhythm, colors, and authentic tradition.

The film will immerse you in the atmosphere of the event – from the first chords and dance steps at the Summer Theatre in Marno Pole Park, through the grand performances at the Vasil Levski Palace of Culture and Sports, to the final awards ceremony, where “Kitna Trakia” from Haskovo won the World Cup, and “Neranza” from Nova Zagora became the Absolute National Folklore Champion. You will also see unforgettable moments from the children’s ensembles, the dancers from Malaysia, and all those who showed that folklore has no boundaries or age.
