With vibrant colours, music, and national costumes, the International Folklore Festival “Euro Folk – Black Sea 2025” started in Primorsko. The event is held from 25 to 29 June.

The festival gathers over 800 participants from Bulgaria, Turkey, and Indonesia, who will present to the audience the magic of their music, dances, and traditions. On stage, rhythms, colours, and emotions come alive, transcending language and cultural barriers.

On June 27 (Friday) at 18:00, there will be a festive parade of participants passing through the central part of the town. The official opening of the festival will take place at 18:45, followed by the first concert block from 19:00 to 21:45 with performances by folklore ensembles from the three countries.

On Saturday, June 28, the festival stage will again come alive with concerts from 18:45 to 21:00. Immediately after, at 21:15, the official closing ceremony will take place, where results will be announced and awards presented to the participants.

The outdoor events will be held at the Amphitheatre stage if weather conditions are favourable. In case of bad weather, the concerts will be moved to the “Samoobrazovanie – 1919” Community Centre or other indoor locations in the city.

The International Folklore Festival is held under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals – EAFF, which includes nearly 500 folklore events from all over the world. EAFF is a globally recognised, accredited organisation with consultative relations with UNESCO in the field of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage to the Committee for Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Organisation.

The forum is competitive in nature and is an authorised qualification round of the World Association of Folklore Festivals – WAFF system.
