The ensemble "Ranu Mareh at The Regency of South Barito" from Indonesia won first place and was crowned "Absolute World Champion for 2024" at the 14th World Folklore Championship "World Folk." The artistic director, Dr. Manat Simanjuntak, and his ensemble from Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, received the prestigious Gold Medal "Golden Orpheus" and a check for 1,000 euros. The organizers also honored them with a souvenir from Bulgaria. Additionally, Dr. Manat Simanjuntak was awarded the title of "Maestro," which will be officially presented by the Ministry of Culture of Indonesia.

Second place, the silver medal, and the "Silver Orpheus" were won by the Vocal Group "Morski Zvezdichki" from the Municipal Children's Complex - Nesebar, Bulgaria, under the direction of Dimitar Yordanov. The ensemble was also honored with the title "Absolute Vice-World Champion for 2024." Dimitar Yordanov received special recognition with the title "Maestro," with the diploma to be officially presented by the Municipality of Nesebar.

In third place, the bronze medal and the "Bronze Orpheus" were awarded to the Kukeri Club "Surat" from Mirkovo, Sofia Region, Bulgaria, under the direction of Iliicho Lalchev. The jury, represented by Mr. Valentin Halvadzhiev, presented the award to the talented participants from Mirkovo.

The championship was rich in special awards. The Women's Singing Group at the "St. St. Cyril and Methodius - 1926" Community Center, S. Satovcha, Blagoevgrad Region, under the direction of Marusya Lozanova, and the Authentic Folklore Group at the "Ivan Vazov - 1958" Community Center, S. Bukovo, Smolyan Region, under the direction of Fanka Kichukova, were honored with the special award of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF).

The special award of the World Association of Folklore Festivals (WAFF) was presented to the Folklore Group at Labschool Jakarta Highschool from Jakarta, Indonesia, under the direction of Ms. Dwi Choirina. The ensemble also received a souvenir from the organizers as a memento from Bulgaria.

The ensemble KUD "Biser" from Velika Kladusa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the direction of Ramic Jagoda, received the Mayor's Award of Nesebar Municipality and a gift set from the organizers.

The European Folk Academy Award was presented to the Macedonian Song Choir at the "Parashkev Tsvetkov - 2003" Community Center, Pleven, Bulgaria, under the direction of Ivan Minkov.

The Eurofolk TV Award was presented to the Representative Dance Ensemble "Nashentsi" from Sofia, Bulgaria, under the direction of Ralitsa Nikolova, including free video clip recording.

Special gifts were presented to Daiva Šeškauskaitė Skalsa from Lithuania and to the youngest participant in the championship, 3-year-old Ivon Gyoreva from the Kukeri Club "Surat," S. Mirkovo, Bulgaria.

The championship, organized by the Eurofolk Academy and held under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF), brought together participants from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Indonesia, who were judged by a competent jury consisting of Maestro Georgi Yankov, music specialist and conductor, Mr. Valentin Halvadzhiev, choreographer and author of folklore dance works, and Mrs. Mariana Nutsova, ethnologist and program director of Eurofolk TV.

At the closing ceremony, the president of EAFF and WAFF, Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov, expressed gratitude to all participants, guests, and organizers, and announced the start of preparations for the next edition and the launch of the new Championship System cycle for 2025.
