The opening ceremony of Asian folk arts and crafts festival "Asia folk" was held in the central square of the capital Mogolia, Ulaanbaatar.
The head of the Capital's Culture and Arts Department  E. Tsend-Ayush and the guest of honor of the "Asia folk" festival, Kaloyan Nikolov, the president of the World Association of Folklore Festivals opened the festival.  The ceremony was attended by the head of the Capital's Small Medium Production and Service Promotion Center Kh. Otgonzul, Tsatsral Baatar the head of "ArtLar culture and art" NGO, who initiated the "Asia folk" festival. The Jury of the festival was also present at the ceremony -  Maestro of World Folk Arts Academy, honorable member of World Folk Arts Association, naadam judge, Mongolian state champion, honorary actor D. Sosorbaram, Mongolia, naadam judge, PhD in music studies, D. Enkhtsetseg, Mongolia, also a festival judge, President of the Penang Arts Council, Malaysia, founder of the world-famous "Rainforest" Festival, Rosli Sidek, founder of "Joe Sidek" Production, Martin Emil Zamora Lopez, Philipines, director of the "Far Eastern" University Art Center, and Gulnora Musayeva, Uzbecistan, director of the national dance ensemble "Bahor" named after "Mukaram Turgunbayeva".
170 partisipant and craftsmen from ten Asian countries are participating in this festival, which has been held annually since 2019. They are presenting their art and handicrafts at Sukhbaatar square.
For the opening of the festival, the artists of Ulaanbaatar theater prepared special muzic program.
