More than 470 participants took part in the XXI International Folklore Dance and Music Festival "Aleksandar Makedonski" in the period from 21 to 25 July 2023. The event was attended by 12 groups from Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, 2 groups from Slovakia and many groups from North Macedonia.

The concert was held in the center of Ohrid, and before it participants had a parade along the shore of Lake Ohrid through the bazaar to the stage. 

At the end of the festival evening, all groups received gifts and thank you letters from the organizer for participating in the festival. Participants also had a tour in the old town of Ohrid and a boat cruise to St. Naum. 

"All participants were satisfied and delighted with the trip to our city", said the organizer of the event Mr Milenko Andreski.
