International dance and music festival "Troya" was held from 27 to 31 October 2021 in Canakkale, Turkey.

Director of the event, Mr Aleksandar Mojsoski informed us that he is happy, because after the pandemic situation his team managed to arrange the international festival and welcomed about 250 participants.

Performers showed the folklore of Albania, Northern Macedonia, Ukraine, Greece and Turkey.

The first festival event was held at the main square of Çanakkale city. After the official festival parade the groups showed their art in front of the public, the guests and citizens of the town.

The second festival event was held at an open area stage on the square of the new part of the city in Çanakkale, it was attended by the Mayor of the city and at the end he presented the awards to the participants. 

During the festival evenings, the performers had the opportunity to get acquainted with traditional Turkish dances, as well as to exchange experiences in the field during the gala evening held in the form of a workshop.

Groups joined a disco party until midnight, many different excursions such as visiting the ancient city Troy, Gallipoli Tour from Eceabat ect. 

Participants got back to their countries with unforgettable memories and the hope to take part in the next edition of the International dance and music festival "Troya".
