The new promo video for the XXV Stara Planina Festival "Balkan Folk", XII Bulgarian National Championship of Folklore and VII World Cup of Folklore is available now in the digital space.

The video with duration of 38 seconds presents the atmosphere and the emotions that can be experienced in the spring during the three festivals held in parallel. They will make the old capital of Bulgaria - Veliko Tarnovo a host of thousands bearers of national intangible cultural riches in the period of 12 to 16 May 2022.

Dances, parades, diversity of nationalities, music, costumes, songs, stage masterity and many awards are essential part and waiting for all of you who has chosen to present folklore richness in the events, organized by the Euro Folk Academy and EuroFolkTV under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals and Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo.

Rich history of the festivals is proof that the safeguarding of cultural heritage is an invaluable gift for future generations.
