The winner of the grand prize of the VI World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Tarnovo online is Ensemble "Exotic Borneo" from Depok, Indonesia. Group won Golden medal, Diploma, Grand Prix Cup, and money prize of 700 Euro - voucher for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk". 

The group at the Sri Aman Secondary Girls' School from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia was ranked second in the contest. Performers won Silver medal, Cup, Diploma and voucher of 300 Euro for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk".

Bronze medal, Cup and voucher of 200 Euro for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" went to Folklore foundation "OSMANEAN GRAUSOR" from Unirea, Romania who  was ranked third. 

Members of the jury: Dr Natalia Rashkova - Bulgaria, Institute of Ethnology and Folklore sciences with Ethnographic museum at BAS, musicologist; Mr Valentin Halvadzhiev - Bulgaria, choreographer and Mrs Mariana Nutsova - Bulgaria, ethnologist, program director of EurofolkTV, have greeted the perfomers for high quality presentations in the program of the contest. The jury commission has announced that 40 groups were titled as first degree laureates and won Golden diplomas, 5 participants - second degree laureates with Silver diplomas and there is noone with Bronze award.

The virtual audience granted the "Audence Awards" to the Department of Arts in Querencia (Unit Kesenian Querencia), South Jakarta, Indonesia.

Three special prizes were awarded to:

  • Dmitriy Rytov and Vitaliy Veselov - Saint Petersburg, Russia - winners in the "Level of complexity and technique of performance" category
  • "Mambo Simbo" - Depok, Indonesia - winners in the "Presentation" category
  • Folklore dance group "Spicushor" - Causani, Moldova - winner in the "Stage manners" category

Special prize of Euro Folk Academy went to Exemplary ensemble for Slavic songs "Shtedrik" from Gelendzhik, Russia. World Folk Academy awarded the Children's folklore ensemble "Čečinka" from Bratislava, Slovakia. EurofolkTV gave an award to Dance group "Aryaguna" from Jakarta Timur, Indonesia. Special prize of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF went to Songs and Dance Ensemble "HYŻNIACY" from Rzeszów, Poland. World Association of Folklore Festivals - WAFF gave the special prize to Serbian ensemble for folklore dances "VEZ" from Toronto, Canada.

The diploma for the youngest performer in the online VI World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Tarnovo went to Ivan Tarhov - 4 years old, representative of Ensemble of Kuban Cossack Center "Basco" - Gelendzhik, Russia.

Diplomas for "discovery" of the event were awarded to: "DUET" from Pudu, Malaysia; Dance group from Pudu, Malaysia; Dance group at the Children's folklore ensemble "Čečinka" from Bratislava, Slovakia; "Svadara" from Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia; Dance ensemble "Magika" from Causani, Moldova; Vyara Koynova from Shumen, Bulgaria and Group for folklore dances "Spicushor" from Causani, Moldova.

Recommendations for participation in the European Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk" were given to: Jozsef Terek from Hevizgyork, Hungary; Folklore dance group "Sitovtsi" from Sitovo, Bulgaria; Group "Holda" from Saint Petersburg, Russia; Chamber groups "Xoaňáčik" from Nitrianske Pravno, Slovakia.

Recommendations and 10% discount from the fee for participation in the European championship of Folklore "Euro Folk" 2021 were given to: Ensemble for songs and dances "HYŻNIACY" from Rzeszów, Poland; Dance department from Bratislava, Slovakia; Dance ensemble "Magika" from Causani, Moldova; Kulturno-umjetničko društvo (Cultural and art society) "TONO HROVAT" from Velika Kladusa, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Group for folklore dances "Spicushor" from Causani, Moldova.

Recommendations for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk" were awarded to: Dance group "Ganong" from Jakarta Timur, Indonesia; Vocal ensemble "Elbetitsa" from Sofia, Bulgaria; "DUET" from Pudu, Malaysia; Dance group from Pudu, Malaysia; Dance group "Aryaguna" from Jakarta Timur, Indonesia; Nurain Afiqah Muhammad Rizal from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; "Anak Bagus" Dancers: Artemis Minoo Putri Fahim Moghadam & Anna Zahra Adolfsson - Malmo, Sweden; "Menari Bagus" Dancers: Eka Resmiati Gunnarsson, Patricia Velasco, Amra Crupic - Malmo, Sweden.

During the film about the winners, broadcastеа on TVEurofolk's YouTube channel, the president of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF welcomed and greeted all participants representing the rich folklore diversity of Lithuania, Bulgaria, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Republic of Moldova, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland, Slovakia, the Philippines, Romania, Croatia and Hungary.
