Four countries will host the World Cup of Folklore in 2020. Bulgarian town of Veliko Tarnovo is the host of the intangible cultural heritage in the period May 14th - 18th. From 4th till 8th of June, the Italian town of Jesolo will become the center of traditional arts. The millenial traditions of the world will be showed in the Ukrainian capital - Kiev from 13th to 16th of March and in the Polish town of Poronin - from 18th to 22nd of September. In 2020 the competition will be held also in Poland for the first time and it is initiated by the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF and license partners of World Association of Folklore festivals - WAFF World Cup of Folklore ™. Bulgaria and Italy are hosts of the large event since 2016 and the Bulgarian edition of the World Cup of Folklore is held in parallel with the №1 Festival in Europe - Stara Planina Fest "Balkan folk" and the National Championship of Folklore "Euro Folk". For second year, the international folklore competition is organized in Ukraine according to the regulation of the Bulgarian forum. Applications for participation can be submitted in the website of EAFF.
