More than 500 singers, musicians and dancers from Bulgaria and Israel took part in the first concert of the XV Black Sea Festival "Euro folk" 2018. The event was opened by the president of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF, Kaloyan Nikolov. 

During the official opening ceremony, a Congratulatory address on behalf of the Mayor of Tsarevo Municipality - Eng. Georgi Lapchev was read. 

The stage of "Georgi Kondolov 1914" Community center in Tsarevo hosted the performances of participants between 4 and 83 years old. 

The jury commission with chairman Maestro Georgi Yankov - musical expert and members: Damyan Damyanov - choreographer and Mariana Nutsova - ethnologist and program director of Eurofolk TV, awarded the following participants with First award Golden "Orpheus":

- Tonika and Ivelina Andreevi at "Arif Dzhenin 1961" Community center - Glogovo village, Lovech (Bulgaria) 

- Female chamber folklore group at "Prosveta 1870" Community center - Svilengrad (Bulgaria)

- Folklore ensemble 'Gornopolska pesen" at "Probuda 1923" Community center - Ovchartsi village, Kyustendil (Bulgaria)

Groups and individual performers received Diplomas and Honorable Signs, Laureate titles 1, 2 and 3 degree, awards, recommendations for participation in the Championship system of EAFF, Diplomas for continuity between the generations on the name of Iliyan D. Nikolov - founder of Music Feasts "Euro Folk".

Foreign guests at the Festival this year comes from Israel and Yakutia (Russia). The program can be found on the official website of EAFF. Concerts are broadcasted live in Internet on: tv.eurofolk.com
