On 6 May 2018 in Vitebsk VII International Festival-competition of children's and youthful creativity "On the legendary stage" took place in Vitebsk, Belorussia. The event was held in the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic and gathered more than 250 participants from 7 to 18 years old from Russia and Belarus.

Young talents from Vitebsk, Shchuchin, Yekaterinburg, Smolensk, Nizhny Novgorod and other cities performed on one of the scenes of the famous festival "Slavonic Bazaar". International Festival of Arts in Vitebsk "Slavonic Bazaar" is one of the most popular festivals in Belarus, Russia and CIS countries.

The festival competition was evaluated by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, director Mikhail Kovalchik, head of the Contemporary Dance Studio of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, actor of the Drama Theater and Cinema Mikhail Kaminskiy and other honored folk artists of culture and art.

The final stage of the event was a large-scale Gala-concert included the best performances of the festival-contest after which the jury awarded the Grand Prix, honorary awards and diplomas to the best participants of the festival as part of the solemn ceremony of awarding.

Teachers and creative teams had an opportunity to participate in the master class on the topic "Fundamentals of improvisation in a dance group" under the guidance of Mikhail Valerievich Kaminsky, the head of the "Modern Dance Studio" of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.

The festival-contest "On the Legendary Stage" was held with information support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of the project "Salute of Talents".

Winners, awards, ranking

The owner of the highest award of the Grand Prix was the vocal show studio "Zebra" from Shlisselburg. The team presented at the festival  performances of solo and ensemble with original stories and bright costume solutions. The ensemble went to the Gala Concert with the performances "Aty-Bata" and "Song about laziness". In addition, the team was awarded a special diploma "For the best costume". 

The winners of the I degree in the nomination "Instrumental creativity" and the finalists of the project "Salute Talents" was Chernova Elizabeth from Shchuchin.

In the nomination "Choreographic Creativity" diploma of the I degree was given to duet Anna Kolobova and Anastasia Kasimova, trio Sentyabova Nadezhda, Selivanova Vladimir and Bersenyova Anastasia, the group of modern choreography "Laboratory of Dance" from Ekaterinburg.

In the nomination "Theatrical creativity" the diploma of the laureate of the first degree was given to the exemplary children's musical theater "Orpheus".

In the nomination "Fine Art» Kassikhin Rostislav Slobodsky became the laureate of the 1st degree.

And finally, in the nomination "Vocal Art" the title of Laureate of the 1st degree was given to

Zavorokhina Tatiana, Shuster Victoria, vocal show studio "Zebra", Postnikov Dmitry, Shepotnik Darya, Pchelina Oksana, Postnikova Galina, Vereshchagina Love from Shlisselburg, Guido Kira from Shumilino.
