IX International Festival for Music and Folklore Dances “Pearl of the sea” was held in the period September 21^st – 25^th in Budva, Montenegro, announced Zoran Strezovski – the director of the festival.

“8 groups from Netherlands, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania took part in the festival. We organized a meeting with the artistic directors of the groups. Both festival evenings were conducted in Tree Canne square. After the second concert all the participants enjoyed a common party, where we gave them Certificates for participation and gifts.”, informed Zoran Strezovski.

Director also added: “With this festival we put the end of the festival season in Budva, Montenegro for this year. In 2017 we organized 10 festivals in Budva and we welcomed 73 ensembles, choirs and majorette teams and about 2300 participants from more than 25 countries. We are grateful to EAFF – the European Association of Folklore Festivals for the support and partnership for all the festivals”.
