For the second year Bulgaria was part of huge initiative European days of artistic crafts.

Coordinator of days in Bulgaria was Regional Association of Municipalities "Central Stara Planina", this year their efforts are supported by the municipalities of Gabrovo, Dryanovo, Elena and Teteven Etar and Bozhentsi Archaeological Ethnographic complexes and artisans from across the country.

Under the motto "With respect to the future" on 2nd and 3rd of April 2016 were held numerous of parallel events in the municipalities of Gabrovo, Elena and Teteven. The team of Global Internet "Eurofolk" TV filmed the demonstrations shown in Elena and Etar Archaeological Ethnographic complex - Gabrovo. The stories of the artisans are included in the "Folklore Table" show which is broadcasted by 20 more cable and satellite TV channels in Bulgaria and abroad.

Accent in April was the festival with a competition character "Folk Festival in Catalonia" 2016, which was held in the Castell Medievall Comte de Valltordera, in Lloret de Mar (Spain) and the International Youth and Children's Folklore Festival "Hristo Uzunov", held in Ohrid (Macedonia).
