From May to September the Spanish province of Catalonia will kindly host dozens of festivals under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF. The four editions of the International Folklore Festival "Folk Festival Costa Brava" - Catalonia (Spain) will be held in May, June, July and September. The events contribute for the preservation and promotion of national traditions and cultures and help to strengthen interethnic relations. Traditionally, the International Folklore Festival in Costa Brava is not a competition and allows promote the cultural traditions of different peoples around the world. Organizing and conducting of the event in several editions is directed to promoting peace, friendship, solidarity and brotherhood among peoples. Through the folk art of dance, music and rich traditions, the national standards of self-expression and communication are being kept.
