Total 15 festivals under the auspices of European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF were held in October in Spain, Georgia, Hungary, Czech Republic, India, Italy, Poland, Macedonia. They were attended by more than 300 groups with over 9000 singers, dancers and musicians from around the world.One of the highlights in the conduct of the grand festivals of dance and singing art was the awarding of a certificate for honorary member of the of European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF to Prof. Lauzi Chanishvili, Chairman of the Creative Union of choreographers in Georgia. The document, stamped with a gold seal was awarded personally by the President of EAFF, Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov, during the International Folklore Festival "Рhythms of fall."
