In 2015 under the project of EAFF "European Folklore Heritage" submitted for approval to European Commission and the program of the European Union "Europe for Citizens" - European remembrance will finance 12 European Countries (from EU) for their participation at the World Championship of Folklore 2015.
Funding will be for 25 people from a country for 5-day period of the World Championship of folklore World Folk 2015. Financial support will be 160 Euro per person. The official confirmation of the selected groups will be on 27th of July 2015.
In order to apply for granting a subsidy for participation it is necessary in the Application form (in the Note box) to write "Applying for subsidies from the EU - EACEA" - Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency

Countries that may contribute to financing:

1. States of the European Union - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

2. Potentially participating countries

The Programme is potentially open to the following categories of countries provided that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commission.

a) acceding countries, candidate countries and potential candidates, in accordance with the general principles and general terms and conditions for the participation of those countries in Union programmes established in the respective Framework Agreements, Associati on Council Decisions or similar Agreements;
