Director: Galina Panayotova "COLORS AND RHYTHMS" 2024 IV INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL TULCЕA, ROMANIA 20 - 23 September 2024 Tulcea The International Folklore Festival "Colors and Rhythms" is being held in the city of Tulcea, Romania for the fourth time. Tulcеa is an administrative center in the region of the same name. The city is an important port in the Danube Delta, which is the largest delta in Europe. The Danube Delta is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Romania. It is located on the territory of Northern Dobrudja in Romania. Since 1991, the Danube Delta has been part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. Tulcha is located 175 km north of the border crossing Durankulak, Bulgaria. Participants: Participants in the folklore festival are folklore groups from Romania, Bulgaria and other countries. Dance, singing and instrumental folklore ensembles, folklore groups, brass bands, ethnic folklore groups, groups for old urban songs can participate in the festival. No age restrictions. The festival does not have a competitive character. Accompanying participants are also allowed. The folklore program of the group should last 10-15 minutes. Program: The program of the festival offers: September 20, 21 and 22, 2024 - participation in a festival concert certificates and plaques for the collective participants Participation fee: Package price per person: 95 Euro per person - includes 2 nights with breakfast in a 3* hotel 137 Euro per person - includes 3 nights with breakfast in a 3* hotel The rooms are double and triple. Surcharge for a single room 23 euros per day per person. The price does not include transport to the city of Tulcea, parking and personal expenses. A group of 25 people gets one free place (25+1). Excursion: Possibility of a motorboat excursion in the Danube Delta. Visiting the sights of the city: the Bulgarian church of St. George, Independence Monument, Danube Delta Museum, Museum of Folk Art, Museum of Contemporary Arts, Avramide House, Museum of History and Archaeology, Church of St. Nikola, the fortress of Enisala. The sites with entrance fees and the excursion on the Danube Delta should be paid by the tourists. DO NOT MISS!!! On the way to Tulcea or back, stop in the city of Constanta - the oldest Romanian city and take a walking tour of the historic city center. Tourist attractions: Casino, Genoese Lighthouse, Aquarium, Ovid Square, History Museum, Mahmoudiye Mosque, Museum of Folk Art, House with Lions, Wooden Church, etc. The city of Constanta is located on the beach of Black Sea. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT DEADLINES: Applicants who wish to participate in the festival must declare their participation by filling in the Application Form for registration and paying a warranty deposit 10% by August 30, 2024. Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
