Director: Mehmet Refik Erten Istanbul is bounded on the north and the south by two seas, the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, respectively. The western half of the city lies in Europe while the eastern half is situated in Asia; in between the two halves flows the Bosphorus Strait. It is a city of great museums, historical places, shopping centers and it is a lively metropolis with many social areas.Our name is Boğaziçi Folklor Birliği Gençlik & Spor Kulübü (Bosphorus Folklore Union Youth & Sport Club). Every year, we are preparing child and young festivals. Take part in our festival and feel the mystery of the Bosphorus Sea. Conditions: Festival will start at 18 MAY 2026 16:00 and will end at 22 MAY 2026 10:00. FESTIVAL MEDICAL INSURANCE: All groups are required to secure MEDICAL INSURANCE before coming to festival. Organization committee won’t pay any medical or hospital cost incurred at the festival period. However, for any emergency situations, we will provide an ambulance. 10 years old and above dancers can join the festival. Singing ensembles, majorettes, chorus ,folk dance and modern dance groups are welcome to participate. Groups will present a performances of 5,10,15 minutes. Music can be live or CD. Groups will use their own buses for excursions. Groups arriving by plane will arrange their own bus rental after pricing is determined. Performances with live or recorded music are permitted. Group photos are required for application. The festival program will be announced later. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools, game rooms, an activity hall, classes (Turkish folk dances, musical instruments, Turkish lessons, morning exercise, excursions, and a walking track) are available. These activities will be included in the program. Participation fee: 195 Euro per person - 4 nights We provide accommodation in a 4* hotel with 2-3 beds each, with toilet and shower in each room, including Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner. If there is a group of more than 30 people, 1 leader or driver is free. For participation of 45 people or more, 2 leaders or drivers are free of charge. Payment for evaluation of one competition number: - Soloist - 50 Euro per participant, - Duet - 30 Euro per participant , - Trio - 20 Euro per participant , - groups – 15 Euro per participant. Participation fee doesn't include: Groups will come and go to festival venues and excursions at their own expense. Guidance service will be provided. Diesel fuel will not be supplied to group buses. Extra day is 45 euros per person. AIRPORT TRANSFER: 42 people on the bus, 35 euros per person, round trip; 30 people on the bus, 40 euros per person, round trip; 30 people on the bus, 35 euros per person, round trip; 10 people on the bus, 45 euros per person, round trip Special Bosphorus boat trip will be organized for the groups who want to participate. Additional cost for this trip will be 25 Euro per person. Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment. Next step: Hotel reservations will be made after 20% of the total fee is deposited into the organizer's account.
