Director: Mehmet Refik Erten Marmaris is one of the most famous touristic cities in Turkey, part of the Mediterranean Sea between Turkey and Greece. The answer to the question "Where do the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea meet?" is Marmaris. It is not just the sea or the nature that attracts people to Marmaris from all over the world. Not even the rich history reaching from past civilizations to today. There must be something more. We shall let an expert talk on the Mediterranean history. Fernand Braudel in his book named "Mediterranean" says: "What is this Mediterranean? All of a thousand things. Not one landscape, countless landscapes. Not one sea, many seas following each other. Not one civilization, many civilizations piled on each other." Marmaris is a place sheltering many of these landscapes, seas and civilizations. Festival will start at 27 October 2025 16:00 and will end at 31 October 2025 10.00. Conditions: 10 years old and above dancers can join the festival. The festival groups will be Folk Dance Groups, Modern Dances Groups, Classic Dances Groups, Country Dances Groups, Folk Music Groups, Chorus Groups, Classic Music Groups, Instrument Music Groups, Brass Band Groups, Country Music Groups, Street Theater Groups, Ritm Groups, Dumb Show Groups, Acrobatic Groups, Majjorette Groups, Flag Groups, Vocal Groups. Groups will present a performances of 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Groups who will attend the festival should be minimum 15 people. There will be no free person for any capacity of the groups. Music can be live, CD or USB. Pictures of the groups should be sent with application. Festival program will be announced later on. Payment for evaluation of one competition number: Soloist - 50 Euro Duet - 30 Euro per participant Trio - 20 Euro per participant Groups - 15 Euro per participant Participation fee: 210 Euro per person - 4 nights AI (All inclusive - no alcohol) Accommodation in a 2+1 person room. Accommodation in a single room costs 25 Euro extra per person per day. Additional information: Transfers will be only in Dalaman Airport. Dalaman-Marmaris transfer - 35 Euro per person (round trip). Groups must come to the competition hall by their own means. The commission is not responsible for delays. They will travel with their own means. Assistance with bus rental will be provided upon request. Entrance and exit to the festival area will be provided by the festival committee. They will make their trips with their own means.
