The goal of the festival-contest is to popularize culture worldwide, preserve and develop national cultures and traditions, showcase the best examples of world classics and contemporary art. It aims to promote and advocate for a healthy lifestyle, activate the creative activities of talented children, adolescents, and youth, and foster the development of relationships between countries. The festival encourages collaboration and interaction among professionals in the field of artistic creativity for children, youth, and adults.

Participants:

Soloists, small groups, ensembles/ chamber formations and ensembles are invited.

Genres:

  • Choreography: folk dance or folk-stylized dance, classical, contemporary/ modern, jazz, artistic, street dance, ballroom dance, show dance, children's dance, show-bellydance
  • Folk ensembles, ritual theaters, folk art ensembles
  • Theatrical arts, acting skills
  • Fashion theaters/ fashion shows
  • Choral groups, vocal and choral ensembles
  • Instrumental groups (brass, chamber, string, folk instruments, etc.)
  • Vocal-instrumental ensembles
  • Other genres, according to accepted applications
* The festival is of a competitive nature.

Technical requirements:

Competitive program within the time limit (1-2 performances):
  • Soloists, duets, trios - 4 minutes
  • Small groups (4-10 individuals) - 6 minutes
  • Ensembles and groups (11 or more individuals) - 9 minutes

* Participants have the right to participate in multiple genre categories with separate applications and separate fees for each application.

Age groups:

  • Mini kids: 7-9 years old
  • Children: 10-13 years old
  • Junior: 14-17 years old
  • Adults: 18 years old and above
  • Senior: 50 years old and above
  • MIXED GROUPS

* To participate in the festival, it is necessary to submit an application along with a QUALITY backing track to the Organizer's email. In case the performance exceeds the allotted time in the application, the Organizer reserves the right to stop the performance.

Awards:

  • Laureates of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes receive individual diplomas, festival medals, and a cup for the group.
  • The winner of the Small Grand Prix receives a cup, festival medals, and a diploma.
  • The winner of the Grand Prix receives the Great Grand Prix cup, festival medals, and the Grand Prix diploma.
  • Letters of gratitude are awarded to teachers and leaders for their preparation and participation.
  • Upon the recommendation of the Jury, participants receive certificates for FREE participation.

* All participants receive commemorative festival merchandise, participant badges, a festival folder for leaders, individual diplomas, and festival medals.

Participation fee:

  • Groups (11 or more participants) - 15 Euro per participant
  • Groups (4-10 participants) - 20 Euro per participant
  • Duets and trios - 25 Euro per participant
  • Soloists - 30 Euro per participant
For participation in additional categories:
  • Groups (11 or more participants): additional fee of 5 Euro per participant for each additional application
  • Groups (4-10 participants): additional fee of 10 Euro per participant for each additional application
  • Soloists, duets, and trios: additional fee of 15 Euro per participant for each additional application

Jury:

The jury panel is formed by the Organizers and consists of representatives from the fields of culture, arts, public organizations, media, and other prominent personalities from participating countries.
The permanent jury panel consists of 5 members.
Evaluation is conducted on a 10-point scale.

The jury has the right to:
  • Provide recommendations to the competition participants.
  • Recognize individual performers and award them with special prizes.
  • By agreement with the organizing committee, make decisions regarding changes to the festival regulations or not award participants with prizes in specific categories.
  • The jury has the right to withhold the Grand Prix if there is an insufficient number of points. The jury's decision is final and not subject to review.

Information:

Groups interested in participating must submit an application along with a backing track. The organizing committee provides accommodation and a cultural program (excursions) in agreement with the participants. The group delegation can include artists and their accompanying group. There is no limit to the number of artists and accompanying members.

During the festival, the participating groups may be invited by the organizers to take part in joint events such as the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, parade, accompanying concerts, cocktails, workshops and others. The presence of invited teams at various events is mandatory.

The application for participation must be submitted no later than May 1st, 2024.

The payment should be made after the confirmation of participation but no later than May 15th, 2024.

All banking expenses are the responsibility of the sender.
Bank details of the organizers for payment will be provided upon request from the team leader AFTER receiving the participation application.

Program:

June 24, 2024 - Arrival at hotels in Greece (according to the selected offer below). Dinner.
June 25, 2024 - Seaside vacation, excursions to Olympus, Meteora, Thessaloniki (additional fee).
June 26, 2024 - Festival Opening on the main square of Katerini. Parade march of participants and groups. Concert performances - 'showcases'.
June 27, 2024 - Competition opening at the Indigo-Korinos complex. Contest performances. Gala-participants' award ceremony.
June 28, 2024 - Seaside vacation.
June 29, 2024 - Check-out according to hotel/ hostel rules. Departure.

Accommodation:

  • Hotel 3* HB - 6 days/ 5 nights
    • under 18 years of age - 250 Euro per person аccommodation in TRPL/ QUAD
    • after   18 years of age - 300 Euro per person аccommodation in TRPL/ QUAD
  • 20 participants + 1 leader free of charge

* Accommodation is arranged with the leaders prior to the arrival of the participants. Leaders will be accommodated in 2-3 bed rooms.

Included in the price:

  • Festival tour includes: 5 overnights in Paralia - Katerini. Hotel 3* accommodation in TRPL/ QUAD
  • Meals: Half Board (5x breakfast, 5х dinner)
  • Rich animation Program provided by professional animators: competitions, sporting events, hiking in the area and in the mountains, educational games
  • Official letter of invitation and other documents

Extra payments:

  • Extra nights in hotel on FB - 45 Euro per person per day accommodation in TRPL/ QUAD
  • Transportation services: from hotel to Concert Hall and back, from Airport to hotel and back
  • Travel expenses (transportation of participants to/ from Paralia - Katerini, travel insurance, entrance Visa to Greece for participants from non-Schengen countries), bus parking, entrance tickets to sightseeing objects, tickets to public traffic, optional excursions
  • The organizing Committee could help with making reservations of tickets for excursion, transportation services and other services on demand
Any group willing to participate must submit an Application form.
Approved groups pay in advance 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment.
