Director: Tsvetomira Krumova Kusadasi is a city in Turkey, located on the coast of the Aegean Sea. Literally translated, the name of the city means "Bird Island". It is assumed that its name comes from the small rocky island in the shape of a bird's head, located near the old harbor in the city. Another explanation is that during the seasonal migrations, thousands of birds gather there. The old houses along the coast, some of which have been converted into pleasant cafes, and the clean beaches create the unique atmosphere of the city. Before the 15th century, the city was called "Scala Nova" and was a lively center for merchants from Venice and the Mediterranean. The city is located in close proximity to the ancient city of Ephesus. Further goal of the festival is to promote joint activities among the performers and create friendships. Form of the festival: "Aegean Sun" festival is not a competition and participants would not compete against each other. Participants in the festival: The festival is open to all - individual participants, community centers, youth centers, academies, public schools, private schools, dance studios/clubs, etc. There are no age limitations. Age categories: 1st age category - kids under 12 years 2nd age category - teenagers 13 to 19 years 3rd age category - adults over 19 yrs Participation terms: Maximum duration of musical and dance performances: FESTIVAL DAYS (11.06.2026 and 12.06.2026) Solo, duet and trio - up to 4 min for performance per age group Group - up to 15 min for an ensemble per age group GALA CONCERT (13.06.2026) Group - up to 5 minutes for an ensemble per age group DANCE CATEGORY Dance category is open to all non-professional dance groups and performers without restrictions in genre (hip-hop, classical dance, folk dance, modern dance, jazz ballet, etc.) or number of participants. MUSIC CATEGORY Music category is open to all non-professional dance groups and performers (singers, musicians, choirs, etc.) without restrictions in genre (hip-hop, classical music, folk music, pop and rock music, jazz, etc.) or number of participants. Hammam (Turkish bath) Two-way transfer to and from the hotel, peeling with a kese and soap massage. 4. Approved groups pay in advance a 10% guarantee fee, which is to be deducted at the final payment. Second step: deposit of the amount of 80 Euro per person to the organizers until 30.04.2026.
