Director: Panagiotis Pagonidis Rhodes, one of the most emblematic islands of Greece, is located at the crossroads of East and West and bears the stamp of history and culture. With an impressive Medieval Town, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and ancient ruins such as the Temple of Apollo and the Acropolis of Lindos, Rhodes tells stories from the Knights of St. John to the time of Alexander the Great. Apart from its historical heritage, Rhodes is enchanting with its unique natural landscape. From the stunning beaches to the lush forests of Mount Attaviros, the island offers ideal opportunities for exploration and relaxation in a natural environment of rare beauty. The picturesque coastal settlements and villages with traditional tavernas, where local products and recipes are passed down from generation to generation, enhance the authentic experience that Rhodes offers. The Regional Unit of Rhodes warmly embraced the 1st International Cultural Festival, recognizing its potential to highlight the cultural heritage of the island and enhance its international tourist appeal. With the active support of the Regional Unit, the festival will evolve into a unique institution that unites people and cultures, while highlighting Rhodes as a meeting point for tradition and hospitality.
