VENICE – city of channels and gondolas

Since 1987 Venice and its lagoon have been on the UNESCO-list of cultural heritage. For many people it is the most beautiful city in the world, and is especially fascinating due to its architectural wealth. The heart of Venice - Piazza San Marco with the gorgeous Basilica - is one of the beautiful places in the world. In the proximity, in renowned churches, the concerts of the Festival Musica Sacra take place.

Condition of participation:

  • choir - performance of a sacred music program 30-45 min. or
  • orchestra - performance of classical music program 30-45 min.

Proposal for the travel course:

1st day:  arrival, dinner and overnight in the hotel
2nd day:breakfast, a trip, visit of festival concert, dinner, overnight
3rd day: breakfast, a trip, meeting with conductors, rehearsal, dinner,
               festival concert, overnight
4th day: breakfast, departure
it's possible to prolong the stay 

Inclusions:

  • participation in the festival concert with rehearsal
  • diploma
  • accommodation, half-board (room incl. breakfast and dinner)
    at a hotel by requested category
  • participation fee
  • free accommodation for the conductor

This is the way to book your participation:

  1. Fill Application form /On top of the page/. For Standard Hotel, please specify.
  2. After reply send a photo, a brief outline and history of your ensemble and a provisional concert programme.
  3. The Director will send you the info material and the participation contract.
  4. You complete and sign the contract and return it to Director of The festival.
  5. To confirm your participation, Director of The festival will then send you a copy of the contract, signed.
