14th Beijing International Tourism Festival (BITF) is a grand festival whichis under controlled by China National Tourism Administration, Beijing Governmentof Municipality and Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development. BITFis the top official festival and much better than other festivals in China. It is nowregarded as the No.1 of top 10 influential festivals by International Festivals andEvent Association (IFEA). We are sure your fabulous performance will be veryinteresting to the local audiences. The 14th BITF is going to hold during Sep.14 –18. 2012
We had the performance groups from some countries in last 3 years:
America: Canada, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil;
Western Europe: France, Germany, Scotland, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Monaco, Netherlands, Finland, Spain, Andorra;
Eastern Europe: Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Ukraine; Serbia, Belorussia,Hungary;
Africa: Nigeria, Egypt, Congo;
Asia: Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India, Bangladesh, Australia, NewZealand, Cambodia, the Philippines;
14th Beijing International Tourism Festival:
Sep.14- Arrive in Beijing, Rehearsal in afternoon;
Sep.15- Opening Ceremony of 14th Beijing International Tourism Festival at9:00am;
Sep.16- Open-stage performances in the morning and afternoon;
Sep.17- Visiting the Great Wall with free of charge
Sep.18- Departure from Beijing

Conditions of 14th BITF, 2012:
1. BITF will undertake your performers:
a) Accommodations: The night of Sep. 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th.
b) Meals: The day of Sep. 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th.
c) Bus: The day of Sep. 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th
d) Tourist Accident Insurance.
e) Visiting the Great Wall.
2. BITF will NOT undertake your below items:
a) International transportation.
b) Visa.
c) Transportation to other city in China.
d) Expenditure besides the BITF.
e) Expenditure of Non-performers (guests).
The performances of above festival include Rehearsal, Standing performance and Marching Parade in the Opening Ceremony. The public performances will be at 2-3 times during the rest days. They have different performing time.
Opening Ceremony:
1. Standing performance. You will have 1.5-2 minutes performing time in front of VIP area. It is the most important. Satellite TV will telecast in live, high ranking official leaders will present in VIP area.
2. Marching Parade. You will have 1.5 km parade show on the road just after finishing your Standing performance. You will have 4 stops to perform on the way of parade. Each stop you have 1.5-2 minutes performance.
The public performances:
1. You will be arranged to different famous historical places to perform during the festival.
2. On each public performance, BITF will arrange some other groups of different countries to perform together. The duration will be 1-1.5 hours. Each group has around 15-20 minutes performing time.
Your music accompaniment (if you need):
You should prepare 3 kinds of Musical accompaniments in the festival.
1. 1.5-2 minutes musical accompaniment both in CD and USB-stick. It will be used during the Standing performance in the Opening Ceremony. This music must be the best of yours because your performance will be telecasted by TV in live.
2. 20-30 minutes musical accompaniment both in CD and USB-stick. It will be used during the marching Parade in the Opening Ceremony. You may compose different music and total length can be over 20-30 minutes. This music will be played in a portable sound system which is going with your parade. USB-Stick is the best way to avoid the influence of bumpiness when system moves on the ground.
3. 20 minutes musical accompaniment should be both in CD and USB- stick. It will be used during the Open-stage performances. You may compose different music together and cannot be longer than 20 minutes totally.
Please be noted that above musical accompaniments must be prepared in CD in duplicate. One is passed to Organizing Committee, and the other is kept by you during the festival for just in case. By the way that music has to be converted into MP3 format in possible. Therefore, you could arrange your performing time accordingly. My suggestion is that:
1. You should prepare the most beautiful program of your team for the Standing performance because it is the most important of festival. It is 1.5 - 2 minutes.
2. Marching Parade. You could perform the same program as the standing performance in each stop or perform different programs as you want.
3. Public performances: you could perform your whole programs. The time is around 15-20 minutes.
If your team is interested in and would like to participate in BITF 2012, please fill the Application from. Organizing Committee of BITF will check your information together with your photos and video. We will send you the Official letter of Invitation after your group is selected and accepted.
Applications for participation in this festival are accepted only from collectives members of EAFF.
