Cultural Association of Art "OHRIDJANKA” from Ohrid is the organizer of the Children’s International Folklore Festival "OHRID PEARL'', which will be held in the city of Odrid in cooperation with the Center for Culture "Grigor Parlicev” - Ohrid.

PURPOSE OF THE FESTIVAL:

The festival is international and ensembles from all over the world can take part in it. It is organized with the purpose to enjoy together the diverse of cultures through dances, music and the colorful costumes. Beside the acquaintance with different cultures from many countries around the world, the participants will have the opportunity to socialize and acquire new friends. Beside that the participants will have the opportunity to be acquainted with the beauty of our city of Ohrid, which is protected by UNESCO, along with the Ohrid Lake. www.ohrid.gov.mk                                       

Conditions of the festival:

- The number of the participants is not limited.
- At every 20 participant - 1 is gratis.
- Secured parking for the participants.
- The ensemble should have prepared a minimum one to two performances.
- Provided appropriated gifts and Diplomas for participation in the festival.

Participation fee:

The participation fee in the festival is:
90 Euro per participant (the price includes 4 full boards)
80 Euro per participant (the price includes 4 half boards)
in a hotel at the very shore of the Ohrid Lake.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is in rooms with 2, 3, 4 beds,each with bathroom and WC.

Program:

1st day (July 25) Reception of the participants.
2nd day (July 26) Sightseeing of Ohrid, visiting cultural and historical monuments.
3rd day (July 27) Visiting"St. Naum" on boat, 20:00h - opening ceremonyof the festival.
4th day  (July 28) Day for individual activities, official performance of the participants
5th day  (July 29) Departure of the participants.

Deadline for submitting applications of ensembles participants - no later than 15 March, 2012.

Approved groups paid in advance 10% guarantee fee that is deducted in the final payment.
Until  30.03.2012 send  payment of a 10 % fee for  reservations  in hotel.
 
Send photo and video materials.
 
Official confirmation of participation is issued after receipt of the guarantee fee.
Official invitations are sent after the official confirmation of participation.

Teams, that wish to stay more days, can do so against relevant surcharge.
